Sustainable and timeless design that suits a family with two children. The concept, developed by Make Make, offers a contemporary interpretation of the classic approach to respect the desires of the owners and the heritage of the building — constructed in 1912 and located in the UNESCO-protected part of the city.
The building in the Art Nouveau style is grand, but the planning of the apartment was unsuitable for a family of four. Thus, a part of the adjoining apartment was incorporated, and the zoning of the new, integrated apartment was completely rethought.
There are no synthetic materials — all finishes used in the interior are natural and long-lasting. The design is open-ended in nature so that the interior can change and adapt to the needs of the family. It serves as a background for their daily life.
