Olive Quarter — a new residential complex — is located in the northern part of Baku, Azerbaijan. A territory 4.5 hectares large will accommodate several buildings, private outdoor spaces in the courtyard, semi-private spaces between the houses and public facilities on the central axis of the district.
The project is a revitalization of a historically under-developed area that previously consisted mostly of temporary buildings. As these constructions have been removed, several dozen old fruit trees have been revealed, giving the name and inspiration to the project.
