The entry garden, the heart of the project, starts the sequence of spaces. The compound brings the two buildings together. Its design is based on the Mediterranean, traditional, inner courtyard, which is an integral part of the neoclassical houses of Cyprus, where in this particular case, it takes on the role of open space reception. The well-known Cypriot wall is raised around the perimeter, reflecting the tradition of construction in the area. The local vegetation (Elies, hyacinths) in combination with the materials of low thermal capacity (compacted soil for flooring) and a new water feature creates the appropriate microclimate for thermal comfort necessary in this region.
